New Integrated Games Service Offers Online Gamers More Ways to Play
REDMOND, WASH. and REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — (March 28, 2012) — Finding a free five minutes of fun just got easier. Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) today announced that Pogo™, its popular online gaming destination, will make its most popular free online games accessible to players in North America and the United Kingdom from WildTangent’s website and Games App.
Gamers who visit WildTangent.com and click on a Pogo game will be immediately transported to a new integrated version of Pogo.com where they can play – for free – to their hearts’ content. Pogo is making its top games available on WildTangent, including hits such as Poppit!, SCRABBLE, MONOPOLY World Edition and Plants vs. Zombies. More games are scheduled to roll out on the integrated service in the coming months including downloadable games.
Players who visit WildTangent and want access to even more Pogo games will also have the option to join “Club Pogo,” a subscription service which gives members access to over 40 exclusive games with no ads.
