WildTangent Games Launches on VAIO in Europe

Game service now available across tablets and PCs from Sony

LONDON – March 21, 2012 – WildTangent today announced that the WildTangent Games service is now available on VAIO PCs from Sony in Europe. Starting with the VAIO C Series notebook PC and VAIO L Series all-in-one PC, the service will extend to the entire VAIO range over the course of 2012. WildTangent will bring the latest games into a single service that makes it easy to find and play new games on VAIO PCs.

Recently launched on the Sony TabletTM S and dual-screen Sony Tablet P, WildTangent gives consumers the choice to play for free, to rent games when free play is finished, and to purchase games they want to own. As an added bonus, 100% of rental applies toward ownership. In celebration of the launch, all VAIO purchasers who register with WildTangent will receive 20 free WildCoins, WildTangent’s proprietary digital currency to use for renting or buying games. WildTangent’s service and top games including Bejeweled 3, Plants vs. Zombies and World of Warcraft will be pre-installed and accessible from ‘VAIO Gate’, a portal designed by Sony for fast and easy access to favourite media and programs from the desktop.
