WildTangent Games Launches New Social Games Category

We’re thrilled to be announcing that we have added social games to the WildTangent Games service, including Crowdstar’s very popular It Girl, and a brand new social game making its global debut, KingX Studios’ Odd Manor.  Today we have eight games live and expect many more to be launching very soon.

Not only is this fantastic for our players who enjoy these great free games, but social game developers can now easily present their games to you through our game service.

For all of you who are already familiar with WildCoins, our in-game currency, you can use them to make your game play even more exciting.  With WildCoins, you can get in-game items such as a Cherry Bomb explosion in Polar Bowler Strike!, a new dress for your avatar in It Girl or a gun in Gun Bros.  Also, just like on social networking sites, you always have the choice to connect and play with friends or choose to play alone.

Make sure to keep an eye out for BrandBoost ads, offering free in-game items while you’re playing social games.  We have found that a lot of people choose to watch an ad in exchange for something for free.  It’s worth it!

Social games live today include:

It Girl by Crowdstar

Polar Bowler Strike! by WildTangent

Build-A-Lot Metropolis by HitPoint

Gun Bros. by HitPoint

Organized Crime by HitPoint

Odd Manor by KingX Studios

Penguin World by Bitrhymes & Salon Street by Bitrhymes

In honor of our social games category, we are running our Social Summer Sweepstakes.  We are giving away 10,000 WildCoins to players who enter sweepstakes.  Each day, you can learn clues to answers only found within the games.  One grand prize winner will receive 1,000 WildCoins.  Two second place winners will win 500 WildCoins.  Four third place winners will win 250 WildCoins and 70 people will win 100 WildCoins.

Go to http://www.wildtangent.com/socialsummer for more details!  It ends on July 8th, so don’t delay!
