We’ve all felt like this at some point, right…?
I feel like this more often than I’d like to admit…
Anyway, I noticed that on the friendly WildTangent forums some people wanted to re-play older games but couldn’t remember what the names of those games were. I figured that there might be more of you out there… and, well, crowdsourcing is sort of what the internet is for (that and cats)…
So, let’s help each other out! This post will be a place to ask for the names of those games you miss and to answer those very questions… if you know the answer!
To get us started, I grabbed a couple of requests straight from the forums.
A few years ago my parents bought a computer and it came installed with Wild Tangent. And I used to play this game all the time the problem is I don’t remember what it is called or if it even still exists. It was kind of like a puzzle game you would click on the squares and then at the end you would see a picture with a dog. It was like a Dog puzzle game. Can someone please help me remember what the game is called? I think it was called something dog cubix but i don’t remember someone please help!!! (Link to forum post.)
I’m looking for a game (whose name i can‘t remember) that I played a long time ago.
I think you are playing a cop or a detective or just a person, in any case you have to look for a woman who has disappeared and apparently it is said that she sacrificed for a ritual or something like that.. and you have to find her..
At the end comes out that the fiance had a dispute with her and he pushed her away and she flew with her head against the edge of the table and died, and to conceal his crime the fiance cut her dead body with a buzzsaw into individual parts and burned or buried her body parts, to make it look like the ritual ..
After you’ve played through the game you could also play the fiance where he wanted to conceal his crime..I think it was a adventure or a Hidden object game. (Link to forum post.)
So, here’s the skinny:
If you have a game that you’re looking for, then comment with your inquiry!
Then, those of you who are awesome and never forget can point the rest of us in the right direction! If you know the answer, then please respond in the comments! You’ll make a fellow player very happy.
P.S. If your game description is “there was a vampire and a kidnapped girl” – be prepared for a huge list of game titles. Ditto for “Hidden Object Game that takes place in an asylum.” You have been warned!
