Weekly Tangent – Life Imitates Games– 4 Mystery Houses

Hello ‘Tangenter!

So, I came across a series of mysterious houses that would be perfect as the inspiration for a game.

Abandoned old house

Mysterious!

The Fifth Avenue Apartment

Mr. X

Winchester Mystery House

Mystery Spot

Are there any places that you think would be perfect for inspiring a game?

Well, if by “Mysterious” you just mean “run down”, you could use our house! :p

Ha! I’m sure that’s not true.

Although, it seems that if you come up with a cool story and put up some fake spiderwebs… you can charge admission anywhere!

Fake!? We don’t need FAKE! We need barbed wire to keep the spiders out of the house.

We aren’t bothered by solicitors, the spiders get them first. ;)

I just got through reading a book by Michael Crichton and Richard Preston called Micro. That’s where the spiders came from in my previous post. ;)
