WildTangent Games

Who are we? We’re a games company! With the WildTangent Games App, you can play games for free, play games with WildCoins (like quarters at an arcade) or buy them outright.

WildCoins

WildCoins are WildTangent’s digital currency you can use to rent and buy games, and purchase in-game items. Click on WildCoins at the top of our website or the WildTangent Games App for a full description of WildCoins uses and benefits.

Account & Billing

Login Help

You can log in to your account from our website or via the WildTangent Games App. Click “sign in” in the upper right-hand corner and enter your email address and password. Click “forgot password” and follow the steps to reset your password if you have, well, forgotten your password.

Purchasing or Billing Issues

You can purchase games using WildCoins, major credit cards or PayPal. If you are having trouble purchasing games, be sure your Web browser is up-to-date and that you have cookies enabled. If you are receiving an error message when trying to make a purchase, first confirm that the information you entered is correct. Often, errors occur when the billing address entered is not the one associated with the credit card. If you are not able to complete your purchase, you should contact your bank; they will be able to advise you on what might be blocking your purchase.

Update My Account

To change your account details, including your profile or billing information, simply login to your account. From there, you can update account info (email address, password), billing info (credit card on file, billing address, etc.), purchase or redeem WildCoins, and make changes to your WildCoins subscription.

Cancel My Subscription

To change or cancel your subscription, simply login to your account, click “Change Plan” followed by “Cancel Plan”, and follow the steps provided. Of course, if there’s anything we can do to help you get the most out of your WildCoins subscription, send us email so we can assist you.

WildTangent Games App

With the WildTangent Games App, you can play games for free, rent or buy games, and discover new games each and every week. Click Games App on our website for details, including system/device requirements.

Game Crashes and Errors

The WildTangent Games App uses Internet Explorer and Adobe Flash to run many games. If either of these applications is out of date, you may experience errors when playing games. Visit Microsoft’s website to download the most recent version (not a “preview” or “beta” version) of Internet Explorer (Note: Windows XP users must use Internet Explorer 8). Then, using Internet Explorer, visit Adobe’s website to get the latest version of Adobe Flash. If you’re having trouble with a single game, but can play others, you should reinstall the game. Reinstalling your game will ensure that any damaged or missing files are replaced. If you are not able to get your game working after taking these actions, send us email so we can assist you directly.

Unlock Codes

To retrieve Unlock Codes for games you’ve purchased, login to your account and click, “View purchase history/licenses”. If you experience an error when trying to unlock your game, send us email so we can assist you directly. Please include the error in its entirety (including anything in parentheses) in your email to us.

Downloading Games

If you’re having trouble downloading games, the following suggestions should help:
     1. Make sure you use the WildTangent Games App to download and purchase games. Using our app is the best solution for downloading, installing and playing games on your PC.
     2. Use the most recent version of Internet Explorer (not a “preview” or “beta” version). Visit Microsoft’s website to download the most recent version of Internet Explorer (Note: Windows XP users must use Internet Explorer 8).
     3. Turn off your pop-up blockers. There are many different programs that may contain pop-up blockers. McAfee, Norton, Google, AOL, Qwest and many others all have their own toolbars which can contain pop-up blockers. Pop-up blockers often need to be disabled to allow game downloads to begin.
