You’ve found a game you really like, and have run out of free trials. What’s next?
WildGames offers you two ways to play the games you love:
- Pay a one-time purchase fee, which grants you unlimited access to the game you buy.
- Play using WildCoins. You can play any game at any time, and WildCoins are deducted from your account (rather like using quarters in an arcade). For more information about WildCoins, click here: WildCoins FAQ
If you want to buy the game:
- Click on the game you wish to purchase in the "Games" list.
- Click the "Buy" button.
- Choose whether you would like to buy the single game, or the Game Pack (if available), or add other bonus titles to your cart. If you don’t want to get a backup disc with your order, remove it from your shopping cart now.
- Click the Checkout button.
- Sign in to your WildGames account using your email address and password, or create a new account by clicking on "Register Now."
- Click the "Place Order" button and wait for several seconds. Clicking more than once can lead to duplicate processing.
- You will be shown the unlock codes for your games. The information will also be emailed to the address you created the account with.
- You may see a backup disc or sampler disc in your shopping cart before purchase. These are optional purchases, and you may remove them by clicking on the trash icon in the shopping cart. The backup disc will require an internet connection to install the game.

The easiest way to download and install your game is to use our Game Console. The Console eliminates many common problems encountered when downloading, like incomplete downloads and trouble saving.
Get the Game Console
To download a game without using the Console:
- Find the game in the Games List to the left of the website. Click on the game name to read a brief description, and also to see a list of computer requirements necessary to run the game.
- If your computer meets the minimum requirements listed, click "Play" to download the game. Your computer will ask you if you want to run or save the program. Click "Save," and remember where you save the program.
- In the future, if you need to reinstall your game, you’ll follow the same procedure.
Downloading is easier with a high-speed internet connection, but our games are also available to those with dial-up. If you find you have trouble downloading a game because you lose your dial-up internet connection, you should use our Game Console. If you lose your connection, the Console will save and allow you to resume your download once you are reconnected.
Once the game has completely downloaded, you’re ready to install it.

Installing your game is easy. Find the file you downloaded and double-click it to start the installation process. You shouldn’t need to do anything else for installation to complete, except choose whether or not you would like to place an icon for the game on your desktop. For simplicity's sake, we do not recommend changing the default location for the installation of your game.

If you have purchased a game, you’ll use the unlock code you receive at the time of purchase to open the game for unlimited play. Unlock codes are given to you at the final page of the checkout screen, and are also e-mailed to you for future use.
If you choose to play a game with WildCoins, you don’t need to unlock anything.
Once you have your unlock code handy, start the game and wait until you see the title page for the game come up. The unlock link is in the bottom right corner of the page. Click on it, then carefully type your unlock code into the box.
You must be connected to the internet before you click Unlock Game. Once the game has successfully been unlocked, you can play offline or online.
Once the code has been entered, you won’t have to enter it again unless you reinstall the game or upgrade parts on your computer. You can start playing immediately, and you have unlimited access to the game.
