Gaslamp Cases 7: The Faith of Rasputin

Something strange is afoot in London. An illegal drug spreads throughout the city, causing those who use it to become aggressive and violent. At the same time, a mysterious religious group hands it out, while decrying anyone who disagrees with them. The drug has been traced back to Russia, to a supposed healer and mystic named Grigori Rasputin.

Morgan Johnson, having solved many tricky cases in the past, agrees to investigate Rasputin along with his partners Jack Brown and Eleanor May. But when they arrive in Russia, they learn that Rasputin is not only powerful, but also charismatic. Even their own group becomes divided over what to believe.

But a sinister plot is unfolding, and if they don't recognize the signs quickly enough, this might be the end for Morgan, Jack, and Eleanor.
